From concept to reality: building the future of lap timing
- 2022
The Idea is Born
During a track day at Laguna Seca, our founders realized existing lap timers were either too expensive or inaccurate. The idea for GTLaunch was conceived.
- 2023
Prototype Development
After 6 months of R&D, we built our first prototype using high-precision GNSS modules. Initial testing showed 10 Hz accuracy that rivaled professional systems.
- 2024
iOS App Launch
GTLaunch iOS app launched on the App Store with real-time Bluetooth connectivity, GPS visualization, and cloud sync capabilities.

Web Platform
Launched comprehensive web platform for advanced data analysis, allowing users to dive deep into their performance metrics from any device.
